Latest Update: Bird integrated with Google Maps to locate e-scooters

Bird has just announced in a blog post that its electric bike and scooter rentals would start showing up in Google Maps. Users are now able to see an approximate price, estimated trip duration and optimized route in Google Maps, but they still need to go back to the Bird app to go ahead and unlock a vehicle. The new feature will be available on both iOS and Android devices.

How to use Bird?

2. Find & Unlock: Find a Bird near you and tap the button to unlock.

4. Start Bird: Stand on Bird, push-off, then push the throttle button with the thumb to start riding.

6. Brakes: Squeeze brake with the left hand to slow down.
