Latest Update: You Can Now Transfer Profiles to Existing Accounts
Netflix subscribers can transfer their profiles to existing accounts now, the latest move followed by the company’s efforts to crack down on password sharing. The profile transfer tool was rolled out last year but previously it was for transferring to newly created accounts only. This can be a headache if you want to start using an inactive Netflix account or you plan to share the existing account with someone else. But right now, you are allowed to transfer your profile to an existing account by simply entering the email and password associated with it. After transferring, your watch history, recommendations, saved games, and My List will be retained. Try this new feature now if you want to transfer your profile.
