December 20, 2022: Stagecoach Services to Cap Single Fares at £2 a Journey

In order to reduce car use and encourage people onto public transport, Stagecoach Bus will offer discounts from New Year’s Day until March 1 to attract new customers. Customers will only need to pay at a maximum of £2 per journey. Besides, according to the report, this action may help remove one billion miles of car journeys each week and cut CO2 by nearly 400,000 tonnes per week.
