Latest Update: Collect New Card Before Expired in March 2023
On 9 March 2023, SASSA informed all the grant holders with cards expiring in March 2023 of applying for a new card to keep the grant. And it is stated clearly that only holders with cards expiring in March 2023 must apply for new cards.Card Holders can apply for new cards at the nearest Post Office from Monday 13 March 2023. As for others with cards expiring in a later stage should wait for further notice in case the current holders cannot get their card before it expires. And SASSA and Postbank have stated that further notice will be released in time to keep all holders with a valid card.

Applicants or their proxy will need to confirm or provide the below information to enable SASSA to consider their application: Confirmation that you have read and accepted the clauses in the Declaration and Consent Documents, Personal Details, Mobile Number (cell phone number), Employment Information and Lifestyle Sustainability Information and Banking Information.

How do I check if the R350 grant is approved?
Log in to Grants.gov. Click the Check Application Status link, which appears under the Grant Applications heading in the Applicant Center page. This will take you to the Check Application Status page. Enter search criteria and a date range to narrow your search results.
