G2G Now is a voluntary app provided by the Western Australia Police Force allowing people subject to a quarantine direction to conduct in-app check-ins using their face as their ID. If you use this app you will be sent check in requests at different times of the day during your quarantine. You simply check in by taking a photo. Your location will be checked at the same time to ensure you are at your registered quarantine address.
To use G2G Now you must have a G2G PASS account and be approved to enter Western Australia.
To use this app please ensure you enable the following permissions 1) push notifications 2) camera and 3) location services when using the app. If you do not enable them you will not be able to use the app and will be monitored by WA Police with phone calls and in-person visits from police officers.
G2G Now is not a tracking app. Your location is checked at time of check-in and when you perform health updates.
