April 1, 2022: Mighty Miner
Clash Royale is adding a new champion Mighty Miner, a single-target melee troop that targets ground units. This will be the first new champion released since the first three — the Archer Queen, the Golden Knight, and the Skeleton King. His special ability, Explosive Escape, costs 2 elixirs and allows him to escape the field and dig out to the horizontally mirrored position, leaving behind a big bomb.
