July 19, 2021: Face mask rules relaxed

The pub group JD Wetherspoon has announced to relax its face mask rules in England from July 19, meaning that the mask wearing rules would not be mandatory. Meanwhile, some other measures would still be retained, such as the screens between tables and sanitisers in its pubs. Wetherspoon said it would encourage customers to order via its app, but they can also come to the bar and order.

Aug 10, 2020: 20% discounts for food, coffee and soft drinks

Wetherspoon is to reduce prices on food, coffee, and soft drinks “from 20 per cent to five per cent”. This price adjustment is fully passed on Wednesday 15 July.

The pubs have a price reduction of at least “10 pence per drink and 20 pence per meal”.
